Hi, I’m only 13 and haven’t learnt to use the sewing machine yet, but I love to hand sew little projects. I love your goody bags but I was wondering if there is a simple way to make them without a sewing machine. I don’t mind if the shape changes completely or if it’s a whole different pattern, I’m just eager to make this, if not, something similar.
    Thanks.

Lucky for you – you can sew ANYTHING by hand that you can sew on a machine – including those goody bags. You don’t need to do anything to modify the pattern – just sew all the seams by hand. I’ve got a video here that shows a trick I use to make those hand-sewn seams a little stronger. http://wendigratz.wpengine.com/2011/01/how-to-sew-without-a-machine.html Have fun!
