Introducing. . . The Cuddle Club!

The Cuddle Club from Shiny Happy World

The Cuddle Club is closed. That means there’s no more ongoing subscription – but you can still get any of the patterns!

Here are all the cuties. Click on the image if you want a pattern or kit.

Every one of these is designed especially for cuddling. 🙂

Best,
Wendi

Hi Wendi, I think this is GENIUS! I have never sewn a softie before and didn’t want to go find all the materials much less the cuddle fleece! Here is my question – I know you can’t please everybody but my favorite pattern is the dog. Is there any way you might make a kit of him???? What about kits of the cat and elephant? Just asking. I know you have a lot on your plate. I appreciate your time and response. I am loving watching you grow your business! You go, girl!

Thanks so much! I won’t make the dog, cat or elephant be part of the Cuddle Club because I want those to be brand new patterns. But I’d be happy to put together a kit for you of any pattern you like. It’d probably be the same price as one installment from the Cuddle Club. If you let me know which pattern you want and what color fleece you’d want it in – I’ll put it together for you. Just let me know. 🙂

        Hi Wendi,

I totally understand why you want new patterns in the Cuddle Club! I would very much appreciate you making a kit up for me. After looking at all the patterns again (and paying attention to the thimble index!), I have decided I will try Franklin the cat in a rust fleece. If you will just let me know what I owe you, I will be thrilled to pay online. Thank you again for helping me to get started!

HI WENDI SURE WOULD LIKE TO TRY A SOFTIE LOOKS LIKE LOTS OF FUN!
IF YOU COULD MAKE A KIT OF FRANKLIN THE CAT IN RUST LET ME KNOW HOW TO
COMPLETE THE ORDER. I AM NEW AT THE IPAD TECH, HOWEVER I DO ENJOY SEWING
OF ANY KIND. YOUR WEB SITE IS JUST AWESOME! THANKS SO MUCH.

        • I’m hoping to get Franklin kits in the shop next week – at that point you’ll be able to buy him just like anything else. Easy peasy! 🙂

    Hi!
Are these all hand sewn or can they be done on a sewing machine? Except the faces I can tell need to be done by hand.
BY THE WAY I love your patterns! I hand embroidered your cats onto 3 1/2″ blocks for my mini quilt challenge for my guild. 🙂

These will be mostly machine sewn. Any hand work will be detail stuff – like the faces you noticed – or sewing up the stuffing opening.

I’d love to see your mini cat quilt! Please share if you still have it to take a photo of! 🙂

Is there any way to just purchase the patterns only? I do a lot of sewing and have scraps that would make these cute designs and save me $$.

    • Yes! All the cuties are available as PDF patterns a month after the kits ship out to members. 🙂

Are you going to do Cuddle Club in 2015?

    • Yes! If you’re already signed up, the kits will just keep coming. 🙂

    Okay! Thank you!

Hello, Miss World. Or would you rather I call you Shiny? Or Happy? You fit them all!
I’ve been looking for hand sew projects to take in the RV. I can fit a sewing machine in the RV but there’s no good, sturdy table for using it. I just ordered the Christmas ornament kits you have on sale. It’s perfect for my needs AND it’s a bargain. I plan on making the heart garland I saw in your email today, too. That means, as far as I’m concerned, you have been perfect twice today already.

    Thanks,

    Lou Ann or tkdla

    • Thanks so much! Hand sewn felt projects are absolutely the way to go if you’re looking for portable projects that don’t take up much room. I love them! 🙂

I was wondering if you’ll do a subscription of just the patterns. I am in Canada and have most of the materials, is there a way I could sign up for the subscription and just get the patterns?

    • It’s like you;re reading my mind! I’m working on it now and expect to have all the kinks worked out by the middle of the month. 🙂

  11. Beth Barrow SAYS...

If we deceide to change from kit to pdf pattern only, do we need to cancel the kit membership and sign up as a new subscriber for the pdf’s? Thanks.

    • Yes. Did you receive the email I sent out with the instructions for how to do that?

      • Beth Barrow SAYS...

        Sorry, I don’t recall that I did.

        • Hmmm – I wonder if it went to a spam folder. No worries – it looks like you got it all sorted anyway. 🙂

  12. Anonymous SAYS...

This is probably a silly question, but are the six patterns shown in your photo the same that ship on the six dates in your shipping table? Or are they just a sampling of the style of softie patterns, with the Club members receiving patterns different from those shown?

I’m just wondering because I’ve purchased a few of your patterns outright, and I wouldn’t want duplicates.

    • Not a silly question at all! Those are to show some of the past patterns that club members have received. The one that goes out every other month is always a brand-new pattern – never seen before. 🙂 Everyone gets the same pattern every month – regardless of when you joined. You’ll just get the next new one. If you want to go back and get any of the previous patterns, they’re available in the shop about a month after club members receive theirs.

I would like to subscribe to the PDF only. Why should give my billing address?

    • Most credit card verification systems use your billing address as a way to confirm that the card is yours. You need to enter the address that your credit card bill comes to.

  14. Andree Verville SAYS...

I applied for the PDF only cuddle club. When will it be possible to have a ling to download the patterns?
    Thank you for your help.

    • The next pattern will go out on 6/20. You’ll receive an email with a link to download the pattern.
