I like birds and I do a lot of bird embroidery. Now, you could satin stitch a bird’s beak with a regular satin stitch, but I make a little tweak to the basic stitch that I think adds a nice dimension to bird’s beaks. It’s not any harder and it gives them just the shape I want. Watch the video to see how I do it.
