This is a handy little stitch with lots of different names. One of the names is Pistil Stitch – and it is perfect for stitching little pistils inside detailed flowers. It’s also good for teeny little flowers and grasses – and also antennae on bugs and aliens. Such a versatile stitch! And if you can do a French knot – you can do French knot with a stem. It’s almost exactly the same thing!
